Can't believe Skyler turned 4! He had a party with his friends on Friday, a family party on Saturday, and then Sunday was his actual birthday. He's had too much fun! Today he told me he just wanted 1 more birthday! He was so excited about his new Carz bedspread from Grandpa & Grandma Hubbard, his new rocket from Grandma & Grandpa Taylor, his Madagascar DVD from Crystal & Jared & Caitlin & Steve and of course the candy, gum, & toy filled dinasour pinata from Uncle Nate & Kourt. At church we were finding gum and candy in all of Skyler's pockets! He also enjoyed getting a card & $ in the mail from Grandpa & Grandma Christensen. He went around telling everyone that he got a dollar then he looked at it and realized it looked a little funny. I told him it was actually $5. He didn't understand but is excited to put it in his bank!
We also took Korver to his 9 month appt on Friday. He weighs 13 lbs 13.5 oz. His head is now in the 4% but his weight and height aren't on the charts yet. He's getting there though! He learned how to crawl, well kind of! He does the army crawl. He's super fast and enjoys moving around. He also enjoys standing against the couch. He looks way too small to be standing up but he is 9 months. He's doing really well and is such a happy kid. He has figured out that when we go to the Dr he has to get a shot. It's really sad. The minute I put him down on the table he starts to cry then when the nurse cleans his leg with cotton he starts screaming. I feel so bad that he has to get a shot every month (this month twice because he was behind on his immunizations). Hopefully only 2 more RSV shots before we're done.
